The collection ’Honeybee & Woodland Strawberries’ is part of Emma Sjödin’s botanical series of wild Scandinavian flowers and beautiful insects. Here, Emma has combined her favorite techniques—pencil and watercolor—to create detailed, timeless illustrations.The aim has been to artistically depict the structure of each flower, including its buds, fully opened blooms, stems, and the shape of its leaves. The original references come from her own studies and compositions of flowers gathered from the summer meadows of Småland, near the Frövik farm.
