The Journey of My Art

My Artistic Practice

On my blog, I want to open the door to my artistic practice — to the stories, thoughts, and processes behind each artwork and every collection.

Here, I invite you to follow me on a journey through my creative work. A journey that reaches back to the very beginning, to the first images and early impulses that shaped my artistic expression, while also bringing you into the work that is unfolding now — where ideas are still evolving and images have yet to find their final form.

I want to share what happens behind the image. How a thought can slowly develop into a composition. How I search for a balance between the planned and the intuitive, between what I envision at the beginning and what emerges along the way.

The pencil is an important part of my visual language. The brush is another. Sometimes they work alongside one another; sometimes they meet and transform each other. I want to explore that dialogue — how line and colour interact, how details are built layer by layer, and how each element finds its place within the whole.

I will share my thoughts on composition and storytelling, and on how I plan an artwork from the first idea through to the final detail. But also on the things that cannot be planned — the intuition, the discoveries, and the unexpected paths that can emerge when an image begins to take on a life of its own.

My previous collections will also have their stories told here. What inspired them, what I was searching for, what I wanted to express, and how each collection carried my artistic practice forward.

At the same time, I want to let you follow me into the future — into the sketches, fragments, and first thoughts surrounding upcoming collections. Into what may still exist only as a feeling, an idea, or an image I carry within me.

This is a space devoted entirely to my artistic practice.

A place for the artworks and the stories behind them. For line, colour, and detail. For the journey from the first thought to the finished image.

And for the ever-evolving journey of creating.
